Misty

Anthony acquired Misty in the fall of 1998 when she was around 18 months old.  Although we had never seen her pedigree, she exhibited the natural instincts of the old, working Aussie bloodlines.  On cattle, Misty was tough and deliberate at the head, but would heel when she needed to.  She worked sheep and ducks with quiet confidence. She was an exuberant, "high speed" dog when she was younger, but she mellowed with age.  Misty knew she is the matriarch of Hudson Ridge, and let all the other dogs on the place know it, too.  Misty passed away in August, 2011. She is greatly missed, and still greatly loved.
